Aspiring to appeal to younger markets, Chaney Instrument Co. asked JAM-Proactive to design and develop a series of contemporary wireless weather stations to energize their Acurite brand.The design team visually extended the LCD screens by using metallic bezels with specialized dimensional window frames. These windows delineate specific weather information at a glance.
Graphic icons were explored as well as the overall layout of the LCD display to communicate weather information in an intuitive and logical manner.
