Jonathan Marks – Principal / Design DirectorAn honors graduate from Syracuse University, Jonathan has over 20 years of industrial design experience. Before cofounding JAM-Proactive Jonathan perfected his skills working with several of the country’s top ID firms. Winner of numerous IDSA and CES Design awards he is listed on dozens of design patents. Jonathan has taught design courses at the university level and continues to be involved in higher education. His work has appeared in multiple international publications, on television and at the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum.
David McDonald – Principal / Engineering DirectorDavid has a proven track record of successfully bringing a number of diverse products to market. He is a Certified Engineering Provider for PTC with over 20 years of engineering experience. He has consulted at several of the industry’s top design firms before cofounding JAM-Proactive. David has taught and structured PRO/Engineer courses in the master merge modeling technique and “top down” design. He has also authored articles on advanced geometric surfacing. David has extensive experience with Asian cultures and manufacturers, and frequently travels to China, Japan, and Taiwan to oversee the manufacturing.
